This policy covers the website city-of-london-locksmiths.co.uk, the contact form, WhatsApp +44 7895 673226, and job files opened from the EC3 yard. It does not cover Google Business Profile once that listing is live; that profile has its own Google privacy notice.

When you call or write we collect your name, phone, email, address of the door, and the message you send. That is how we dispatch and invoice. We do not scrape extra profiles. We do not buy lists.

A lockout on Bank, Liverpool Street or a Barbican highwalk still needs the same fields: who is at the door, which floor, which lock, and who has the right to instruct the open. Photographs you send on WhatsApp stay with that job. We do not use them for advertising.

Email is sent through our mailbox provider. If you accept analytics, Google Analytics 4 runs with IP anonymisation. If you accept maps, Google Maps loads on the contact page. Google Ireland Limited is the usual Google entity for those services. We do not load those tags until you opt in.

We do not run marketing pixels. We do not send job data to a CRM for lookalike audiences. A processor that only carries mail is not a licence to profile Square Mile occupiers.

Job records and invoices are kept for as long as tax and insurance require. Consent records are kept until you withdraw them and for a short period afterward to prove the choice. Analytics data follows Google’s retention setting once enabled.

You can access, correct, erase, restrict, object, and port where the law gives you those rights. You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. We will still keep records we must keep to show who authorised an opening.

Lawful-access records exist because locksmiths are asked to open other people’s doors. We would rather keep a short note of who instructed a Bank suite open than argue later with a neighbouring occupier. Those notes are not marketing profiles. They are not sold. They are not turned into lookalike audiences. They sit with the job file beside the invoice that already has to exist for tax.

If you want analytics forgotten, withdraw consent on the cookies page. If you want a job file erased and the law still requires us to keep the invoice, we will say so plainly rather than pretend a right is absolute when it is not.

Google may process data in the United States under its current transfer tools. We do not send job photographs to random clouds. WhatsApp messages you send to +44 7895 673226 are subject to WhatsApp’s own terms.

This site is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly take jobs instructed by a child.
